2½ Tbsp (20 g) whole-grain millet flour
20 g
1½ Tbsp (8 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
8 g
½ scoop (15 g) chocolate protein
15 g
2 Tbsp (25 g) allulose
25 g
½ tsp GF baking powder
2 g
small pinch of salt
0.5 g
¼ cup (60 g) unsweetened almond milk
60 g
1 Tbsp (20 g) unsweetened applesauce
20 g
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 g
2 tsp (10 g) allergen-friendly chips, for the core
10 g
Method
- Whisk the dry ingredients right in the mug (a fork works; lumps of cocoa don't self-resolve).
- Stir in the almond milk, applesauce, and vanilla until smooth.
- Bury the chips in a cluster at the center — that's the future lava.
- Microwave 60–80 seconds until the top is set but the center still glistens. Undershoot; you can always add 10 seconds, you cannot un-rubberize a mug cake.
- One minute of patience (molten means MOLTEN), then in.
